COURAGEOUS LEADERSHIP

Dear Leaders,

Leadership takes courage. It’s not an event but
rather a process which takes place over time and
requires care and attention. It requires analysis of
what is effective and what is ineffective; what is
working for us and what is not.

It takes courage to listen and act on feedback given
to us; it may take even more courage to provide others
with clear and meaningful feedback. It takes courage to
do a self assessment and identify areas where we are
not strong.

It takes courage to have an established and
documented plan detailing where we want to go and
requires clearly defined vision, mission, and goal
statements to help us (and our team) go where we want
to go.

It requires we take risks and hold ourselves and
others accountable; it requires difficult conversations
and admitting our mistakes. It also requires that we
build trust and become vulnerable.

Courageous leaders link their processes to a dream
through:

Rewards

Services

Hiring

Training and Development

Communication

Change

During these times of change and uncertainty we all
need to display courageous leadership more now than
ever.
